Ivory Coast, Baoulé people, 1950s, very pretty and unusual ceremonial bell topped with a wooden statue of a standing man, legs slightly bent, hands placed on either side of his stomach. A finely striated headdress adorns the top of his skull. Total height 37 cm. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of lighter from a well-known brand.
