Laos, early 20th century or earlier, Statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, known as the "Awakened" Buddha, finely sculpted with numerous details, with a pointed ushani (sarum), seated on a raised lotus throne. The statue is made of silver leaf fashioned over a terracotta core. Dimensions: Height: 13.6 cm. Good condition, except for a small chip on the left side of the base.
