CHARLON Léon-Paul, born in Paris around 1900 (Ec.Fr.). Painter of landscapes, he stood out for his talent at the Salon des Indépendants from 1926 to 1932 for views of Montmartre and the bridges of Paris. Passionate about horticulture, he also produced delicate gouaches representing flowers, like this 1938 work entitled "Zinnias". The framing commissioned by the previous owners, just as refined, highlights the subject wonderfully. Good condition. Dimensions: Height 31.7 cm. Width 24.4 cm (41.8 cm x 34.3 cm with frame).
