Democratic Republic of Congo, Songye people, superb carved wooden rank mask. It comes from the "Kifwebe" initiation society, with a graphic face covered in striations enhanced with pigments and a forehead divided in two by a ridge extending from the nose. Dimensions: Height 12 x Depth 12 x Width 11 cm. The scale reference in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand. Good condition.
