Large antique bronze sculpture group "lioness hunt" by the sculptor P. Berjean from the Art Deco period. It represents a hunter, with prominent muscles, dressed in a loincloth and equipped with a sharp-tipped spear hunting a lioness with sharp claws. The two subjects, with angular features, rest on a black marble base. Beautiful green patina with many contrasting shades. Double Signature on the marble and on the bronze "P. Berjean". Very good original condition
