Pair Of Limoges Porcelain Dishes, Hand Painted Decor, Martins Pêcheurs, Atelier Pastaud
Artist: Ateliers Pastaud
Magnificent pair of decorative Limoges porcelain dishes from the Pastaud house, circa 1930/1940. Rare decoration of a kingfisher flying over a body of water in search of fish swimming peacefully and hidden under lotus flowers; all in a beautiful twilight atmosphere. Charming representation of a stylized naturalistic scene where the influence of Art Nouveau is still felt, this decoration is entirely hand-painted and each of the dishes bears the signature of the artist Lamourd. Gold edging around the entire scalloped edge of the dishes. Green stamp mark on the back. Shipping costs Metropolitan France 25 euros, other destinations contact us
