Charming little table knife handle, used in Flanders and Moselle Valley during 16th and 17th centuries, the d'Allemagne collection 19th century, gathered a few including a very similar one, (photo).
Here Eve, our mother to all, Bible says, a character with obvious charm, despite wear of use, carries a large apple under her pretty chest, sheath pants revealing a beautiful fall of kidneys.
The worn patina is superb, and condition very good.
