Luxurious Cradle For Grand Restaurant Sommelier, Screw Model, 19th ,silver-plate Metal

Here is magnificent mechanical berceau for cradling old bottles, Prestigious Restaurant model, with endless screw, turned and silvered columns, carrying pivoting handle and cradle in two formats, Burgundy and Bordeaux.
It rests on an oval base of blackened wood with four silvered feet. The worm screw crank allowed bottle to be tilted to  right level, so that wine is aerated… Beautiful antique gastronomic object, late 19th century, rare model to find! Dimensions: 32 cm x 34 cm x 18 cm, weight: 1.4 kg.
