Cubic Foot Warmer Late 18th, Openwork Dutch Dinanderie

Cubic shaped brass foot warmer slightly domed and openwork top with engraved floral decoration and carrying handle. 4 sides identical, hammered with a large convex cabochon mirror effect, in borders with threads of pearls and tulips. One side opens with butterfly ring to place the iron bucket containing embers, which we don't have. Beautiful object!
The underside bears a lightly engraved mark: owner's initials and date: 1797.
Size: 19cm x 19cm x 16cm. Used at the time, in the 18th century in carriages, churches with long offices, to bathe beds... Take a good look at our photos.....
Good general condition, except for bottom, which has lost its ball feet on corners, one corner is also torn, (photo with red arrows). Take a good look at our photos.
