Charming pair of chased bronze candlesticks with rocaille decoration, adorned with acanthus leaves, snails and flowers. The slender shafts rest on richly sculpted tripod bases decorated with foliate feet and shells. The Louis XV style is interpreted here in a fanciful baroque spirit. French work from the 20th century, taking up the aesthetic codes of the 18th century.
