Superb pair of antique Chinese patinated bronze incense burners, shaped like small tripod teapots. The openwork lids are topped with finely sculpted Fo dogs, symbols of protection and loyalty. The curved spouts and handles evoke the classic shapes of ritual jugs. Each piece rests on three ball feet and bears a Chinese seal under the base.
