Elegant small jewelry box from the Napoleon III period (circa 1870), in blackened wood with brass thread inlays and metal cabochons adorning all sides, including the lid. Central medallion engraved in brass on the top. The interior is lined with old fabric, with visible wear and missing lining at the bottom (see photos). Lock closure (missing key). Dimensions: 11 cm (length) x 9 cm (width) x 10 cm (height) Very beautiful decorative and collector's item, representative of the refinement of the Napoleon III period.
