Large Old Painting Signed Gabriel Moiselet (1885–1961) – “last Snows At Villonac”

Superb large-format oil on canvas depicting a winter landscape in the village of Villonac (Dordogne). The work is signed and dated lower right, and bears on the back a handwritten label with the title, the artist's address in Paris, as well as the official stamp of the Direction des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris (no. 5292), attesting to his participation in an exhibition in 1936. Peaceful rural scene, traditional architecture, delicately rendered winter light - a composition typical of early 20th-century French painting.
