Elegant candlestick in finely chased and mercury-gilded bronze, decorated with acanthus leaves, fluting and pearls. The tapered shaft rests on a richly molded circular base with gadroons and a row of pearls. High-quality French work, attributable to the end of the 18th century or the beginning of the 19th century, in the Louis XVI style. Height: 29 cm Condition: very good condition, original gilding well preserved with slight wear from use.
