Pinchon (French School of the 19th century): "Couple at the well", gouache watercolor 33 X 23 cm, mounted by a beveled mat in a gilded rod 55 X 42 cm. Sun-exposed paper, two traces of transverse folds.
Despite its condition, this charming watercolor shows us a young couple chatting around the well of a large farm or a castle, many details embellishing the scene: lantern, bundles of wood, utensils, etc.
