"Around 1790: A Family, Collection Of Miniature Portraits "
All gathered in a frame, probably five members of the same family in four miniatures. We are at the end of the 18th century, at the beginning of the revolution, the men still wear wigs, but the young girls have antique outfits in the latest fashion. The parents on blue papers are gathered in a single drawing, madame still dressed as before the events, only monsieur has a frock coat whose wide and high collar accurately reflects the period. The young girls, carrying a small dog in their arms, are dressed very simply. The still young man (at the bottom in the frame) is represented in his office, we can see objects behind him. Only the miniatures of the young girls are a little pitted, but this can be cleaned by my paper restorer. Contemporary frame. Diameter of the drawings at sight, 5 cm for the smallest, 7 cm for the largest.
