Object description :

"Late 19th Century Mahogany Flying Tea Table Or Serving Trolley "
The end of the 19th century, in its search for comfort, saw the creation of a large number of useful pieces of furniture, inspired by the 18th century. This serving trolley or tea table is ideal for storing serving pieces that are going to be or have been used. The handles on the top allow everything to be easily carried. Made of solid mahogany, it is decorated with charming brass sabots. Small retractable trays on the sides complete its service capacity. Some scratches from use on the trays, a discreet shrinkage of the wood on the upper tray, otherwise very stable and in good general condition.
