Louis XVI Chiffonniere Table In Nineteenth Marquetry
Chiffonier table on all sides, Louis XVI style in mahogany marquetry veneer surrounded by lemon nets which are encrusted with amaranth. White Carrara marble top surrounded by a brass molding. It opens with 4 drawers (oak interiors) separated by "dust covers" and adorned with brass pull rings. It rests on 4 sheathed feet ending in bronze clogs.
Period: second half of the 19th century.
