Oval Gueridon, Louis XVI In Mahogany, 18th Century
Louis XVI period pedestal table or salon table , of circular form, resting on four tapered legs sheathed in bronze and finished with brass sabots , on its Bronze Castors .
It opens to the front with two arched drawers, embellished with fine brass baguettes and its original lock.
The top is topped with a white veined marble girdled by an openwork brass gallery, bringing refinement and functionality.
A moving brace shelf connects the legs in the lower part.
The ensemble features beautiful warm-toned mahogany marquetry and veneer, typical of the neoclassical taste of the late XVIIIᵉ century .
An elegant and decorative piece of furniture, ideal as a pedestal table, sofa end or small side table in a classic or contemporary interior.
