Sold to restore, or to frame..Nice pair of Kakemonos, painting on paper and silk scroll, representing a European couple, dressed in traditional Japanese clothes, rich colors and details of the kimonos. Painting on paper and silk and wood scroll for rolling. Presence of one end piece out of two on each, in animal material.
Poor condition, but paintings are fresh. Silk cooked in some places, missing a wooden stick on one, cracks, missing animal material ends. Please look carefully at my detailed photos, I hide nothing!
Japanese working, dating from the end of the 19th century, Meiji period.
