China Late 19th Century Rare Cane With Watercolor Painter System Bamboo Shaft
CHINA, late 19th / early 20th century.
RARE cane painter / watercolorist.
Was made of bamboo.
A bronze and brass boubon at each end:
One with a stylized floral decoration, in bronze, discovers a housing for storing (the paper rolls (?).
The other for sliding brushes, paintbrushes and pencils.
In the central part: 2 sliding brass rings allow you to discover a palette with 12 compartments (of unequal sizes) of watercolor paint.
Dimensions:
Length: 101.3 cm.
Diameter: 4.4 cm.
