Kangling, or Tibetan flute, made from a bone, femur or tibia, encased in richly decorated silver.
This magical instrument was intended to ward off evil spirits. It was crafted from a human bone, usually from a victim of a violent death. The silver encasing is finely chiseled, decorated with two entwined dragons and foliage. Two turquoise stones are set at either end, along with rings for attaching a cord or chain.
