This object was used by shepherds and field workers, day laborers, etc.There were several sizes, the number of which varies depending on the production center, from 4 to 6.The shapes of these dinner carriers are variable, they are truncated in Burgundy, pomiform in Ile-de-France, flared in Anjou...the attachments of the handles, depending on the region, feature cherub heads, rosettes, fleurons, human masks, etc.At the BOUVIER in CLAMECY, we see small variations in the number of loops of the hair of cherubs' heads
