"Renaissance Style Console Table In Solid Oak, 17th Century "
Very imposing console table in solid oak from the 17th century. Our table, of a significant height, rests on four turned baluster legs connected to each other by a spacer forming a frame at the bottom of the base. The belt is entirely worked with deep sculptures around its entire perimeter. The front and back of the belt have different sculpture patterns. These sculptures are completed with floral motifs carved in relief and arranged in appliques. Our table has three drawers. The top of our piece of furniture was changed at the very beginning of the 19th century. It is made of a remarkable and important solid oak top in one piece and with a thickness of more than 3.5cm. It is worked in bec de corbin around its entire perimeter. Overall in very good condition. Wear and small restorations of use.
