"Roman Style Stained Glass Window Depicting A Medieval Figure, Mid-20th Century, Medieval Style"
An interesting stained-glass window from the very beginning of the 20th century, created in the purest Romanesque style and depicting a figure from the Middle Ages. This window was made from fairly old glass, exhibiting all the irregularities (bubbles, etc.) that give this type of material its charm. The piece is in good overall condition; however, two small cracks are present on the tunic and one of the figure's breeches (see photos). Finally, a tiny chip is present on the bottom edge of the tunic (the blue part), but this does not weaken the stained glass. To facilitate handling, our stained-glass window is sold with a set of four brushed metal strips that fit around the perimeter of the piece and help maintain its rigidity.
