Gothic-style Wrought-iron Balustrade - Lg = 625 Cm H = 93 Cm - 19th C.
Remarkably well-crafted Gothic-style wrought-iron balustrade dating from the first quarter of the 19th century. It is composed of two sets of intersecting ogival arches resting on colonnade-like ringed bars and alternately on molded lantern caps, with a lower diamond-shaped frieze decorating the base.
Total length 625 cm, composed of two 202 cm elements, two smaller elements of 75 and 63 cm and a 77.5 cm gate.
The height to the body is 82.5 cm.
The whole is mounted half-ironed and riveted, with lead-cast rings.
A restoration is planned on a 202 cm element, using an ogive and its cul-de-lampe on the 75 cm element, which will balance the two smaller elements at the same time.
