Drop Handle. Sixteenth Century.
Beautiful wrought iron drop handle engraved with an angel, a fishbone, Christian symbols; the end of the grip is open in imitation of a snake's mouth. We can assume that this grip was useful for opening a door of a religious building. Sixteenth century or earlier?
