"Rare Haute époque Zoomorphic Door Knocker"
Rare wrought and sculpted iron door knocker, in the shape of a fantastic animal with 2 legs (rare) and 2 snake heads, one stylised on the hammer part, the other forming the tail. Complete with 2 nails for fixing to the door. Understandable signs of wear, but good general condition. Period 15th-16th century
