Restoration Style Office Chair, 19th Century
A 19th-century Restoration period office chair in natural waxed and patinated wood. It rests on two umbrella legs at the front and two saber legs at the back. The armrests form two beautifully curved, superbly sculpted sections. The chair's strength lies in its recently reupholstered seat, which is firm and perfectly stable. The woodwork is in good condition but naturally shows signs of wear, minor imperfections, and sun damage. The blue fabric is also in good condition but has three discreet little stains (see photo 11).
