Painting, oil on canvas signed lower right by the Swedish painter Johan Ericson (1849-1925) dated 1909. The scene depicts a seaside bustling with boats returning from fishing at sunset. Good condition, old restorations almost invisible, see photos. Johan Ericson (1849-1925), born in Karlshamn, Sweden, was a prominent Swedish artist. He studied at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts and spent several years in France, where he assisted Alfred Wahlberg. Dimensions without frame: 73 cm / 49 cm. With frame: 86 cm / 61 cm.
