"Pietro Barucci (roma, 20 Aprile 1845 – Roma, 23 Febbraio 1917)"
Born in Rome in 1845, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and was a pupil of Achille Vertunni. In 1878, he received a prize for one of his landscapes from the same academy. A fine landscape painter, his subjects were primarily daily life in the Roman countryside. Among his numerous works, Lago negli Appennini was exhibited in Chicago in 1893, while Laguna di Venezia and Regione del Polo were shown at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris in 1907. misure larg 110 cm alt 62cm
