India: 18k Gold Mounted Claw Pendant,
Very beautiful claw mounted in gold. This is an Indian work, probably from the end of the 19th or the beginning of the 20th century.
The setting is in gold, not hallmarked but tested with a touchstone. The title is 750/°° minimum, but Indian jewelry is often in 24k, the title may be higher.
The setting has a very fine decoration of granulation and twisted wires.
