Empire Woodwork Trumeau
Rare and spectacular Empire style woodwork trumeau in wood and gilded stucco, with four twisted columns with Corinthian capitals. The central part is topped with a panel of Apollo's chariot. It is framed by glazing beads surrounded by twisted columns with Corinthian capitals and topped with square columns decorated with gilded palmettes surrounding a reserve also decorated with palmettes. The whole rests on a plinth. Small losses and restorations of use.
