Camille Tharaud Limoges, Large Enameled Porcelain Vase With Blue Fern Decor, 1930
Artist: Camille Tharaud 1878 - 1956
Very beautiful vase in high-fire enameled porcelain from the Ateliers Camille Tharaud in Limoges. This large vase has a magnificent rotating decoration representing ferns in a cameo of blue. Our vase has a great depth in the color tones and a magnificent shine in the enamel characterizing the production of Camille Tharaud. Note, a small firing defect under the base of our vase, without influence on the aesthetics. It bears the stamps of the Atelier which were deposited for the period 1922 as well as the period 1928.
