Oak Mirror In Renaissance - Louis XIII Style, 2 Twisted Columns, Satyr Mascaron, 19th Century
Very important Neo-Renaissance - Louis XIII solid oak mirror dating from the second half of the 19th century.
Our mirror is adorned on the sides with two detached columns turned in a twisted fashion, they are surmounted by two projections framing a pediment adorned with a central Mascaron with a Satyr's head and foliage. The whole is topped by a wide, richly carved molding acting as a cornice.
The mirror is in good condition, bizauled and encircled by a fully worked baguette.
The back of our parquet-style mirror is also in perfect condition ( see last photo ).
