Rare rectangular tin WRITING DESK with a domed hinged lid and an oblique plinth base, complete with its sprinkler and removable drawer. It has a blown glass ink cup surrounded by four holes for holding the nibs.
Hallmark of Johannes VAN CAMP ENGELS, received master in 1746: crowned rose / IVC
Dimensions: L: 13.5 cm. I: 9 cm. H: 11.2 cm.
ANVERS (ANTWERPEN), Second half of the 18th century
In very good condition, some slight crushing from use at the corners of the body of the object are however reported.
This type of object is very rarely complete with all its accessories. Here, none are reported or adapted.
