17th Century Dutch Mirror, In Molded And Blackened Wood
- Rectangular mirror with a blackened and molded wooden frame. Several rectangles, with varying depths, increasing then decreasing, circumscribe this mirror. These juxtapositions allow a play of perspective, the mirror stands out more. In addition, the composition is punctuated by the moldings, which present an elegant decoration of guilloche and wavelets in high relief and which add texture to the frame.
