Door Tapestry Verdure Aubusson, 18th Century

- This wool and silk tapestry offers us an open window onto a greenery where nature and the presence of man coexist, signified by architectural elements in the background. The exposed vegetation appears with a lot of character, it is transcribed by this imposing tree in the center which stands over the entire height of the tapestry, and with at its foot, a plant endowed with a strong vitality. This green landscape is also animated by two birds which seem to converse.

- The weaving is surrounded by a decorative border deploying garlands of flowers with varied and colorful species.

- Good condition, an open relay seam. Tapestry lined, fixing system present (hooks), ready to be hung. - Dimensions: Width: 168 cm, Height: 261 cm
