Gilded Wooden Mirror Circa 1700.
Beautiful mirror in gilded and carved wood. Openwork pediment decorated with a flower basket surrounded by foliage. Two garlands of flowers descend on each side of the frame, carved with rolled and unrolled leaves at their ends. Mercury mirror. Very good original condition with its beautiful period gilding. Northern Italy. Late 17th, early 18th century.
