Large upholstered armchair, "Calysse" model, designed by Henri Caillon and produced by Erton, France, in 1956 (published in the magazine "Art & Décoration" n° 56 of December 1956 - January 1957).
This armchair, enveloping and very welcoming, was reupholstered and covered in "raspberry" velvet by its former owner in the 1980s/90s.
The padding is totally comfortable, the seat is just firm enough and at the right height to sit down and stand up without effort, the high "wing" backrest supports the back and neck well..., it's a pleasure!
The fabric is clean, without stains or snags, and just has discreet and normal wear on the ends of the armrests...
Varnished beech legs with slight normal traces of use. Very good general condition.
Backrest height = 95 cm, seat = 45 cm
Total width = 75 cm; Total depth = 95 cm
Weight approximately 30 kg.
