The wide, rounded seat rests on four tapered and fluted legs, characteristic of the Neoclassical vocabulary inherited from the 18th century.
The upholstery is covered in brocaded silk with a polychrome floral design on a cream background, inspired by 18th-century fabrics. The decoration, composed of delicate floral scrolls, harmonizes beautifully with the geometric simplicity of the wooden frame.
The reverse of the backrest features a central vertical crossbar ensuring the overall sturdiness, a typical element of 19th-century designs that revisited Louis XVI models.
