Japanese Signed Brush Pot, Lacquered, Carved Bamboo, Lacustrian & Mountain Landscape 19thc

Here is an interesting brush pot, which, despite its condition, remains a beautiful collectible and decorative item! In a large section of bamboo, it is lacquered in several layers, red, then iridescent black. The front is engraved, bringing out the original color of the material, with a lake and mountain landscape decor, with two characters moving on a boat. Signature in the upper left corner, which I have not identified. The back is not engraved.
Condition: average: 3 significant cracks, and lacks of lacquer in many places. Thank you for looking carefully at my detailed photos, I'm not hiding anything!!
Japanese working, dating from Meiji or early Taisho period, late 19th century or early 20th century.
Dimensions: 14.5cm H x 10.5cm diameter.
