Fine Miniature Work, Drawing Enhanced On Vellum, Scene Of The Visitation, Circa 1700 Or Earlier

Very pretty little drawing, finely exercised on a piece of vellum. Well enhanced with colors, it represents a scene of Visitation, the visit that Mary, pregnant with Christ, pays to her cousin Elizabeth, pregnant with John the Baptist. Pretty lake and mountain landscape in the background, beautiful fineness of details, a great quality and material.. Rare to find item, to frame!
Excellent condition, some small wear on the painting and a humidity stain on the back. European working, most likely French, dating from the second part of the 17th century or Circa 1700.
