Standing Buddha In Bronze
Finely chiseled bronze Buddha dating from the end of the 19th century. It comes from Thailand (kingdom of Siam) during the Rattanakosin period (1732-1932). Buddha imposes his hands wide open in front of him to show his absence of fear, his appeasement in the face of the world around him. This standing Buddha is richly carved with floral and geometric motifs. Height 48 cm Very good general condition
