Silhouette In Oval Medallion, Early 19th Century
Oval églomisé medallion with a profile silhouette, early 19th century. This charming medallion mounted in a pompom is decorated with a man's profile on a gold background surrounded by a frieze of silver flowers and foliage on a black background. On the back, a purple background was to accommodate a lock of hair protected by a beveled window. The assembly is delicate, original and in very good condition.
