Porcelain Lamp Decorated In Chinese Style, 19th Century.
This oil lamp, mounted on its stand, is very elegantly decorated with two finely painted cartouches.
One depicts a rather rare subject: a musician playing a stringed instrument (a guzheng?) placed on a table before him.
The other cartouche shows two young women seated with a small child.
Grasshoppers add a playful touch to the sides. It has been neatly electrified, without drilling, and is in beautiful condition.
The spelter mount has been painted green.
