Box Period Late Seventeenth Century Early Eighteenth Century
Rectangular box in ebony structured with projections and steps, inlaid with tortoiseshell reserves underlined with ivory and ebony fillets. Opened, it discovers a rosewood interior decorated with tortoiseshell, foliage and exotic wood fillets, a small mirror and four compartments. The left side panel, mobile, reveals an exterior cover. The keyhole and the carrying handles are in chiseled and gilded bronze. Work in very good condition, from the end of the 17th century, beginning of the 18th century, probably Cie des Indes Hollandaises. We will give the purchaser of the box the documents with his CITES passport number
