A copper dish covered in cellular enamel (cloisonné) with gilt bronze fittings. Executed with great attention to detail, the cellular enamel decoration depicts a butterfly flying amidst a variety of blooming flowers. The openwork frame, finely chiseled, is in gilded bronze.
