Ferdinand Früwirth was a famous Austrian arms manufacturer based in Vienna. Circa 1861. Round barrels, with thundering sides, adjustable base rise with folding sight, fixed front sight, bayonet fixing lock. Numerous markings present on the barrel as well as British hallmarks. Interior of the grooved barrel, very deep scratches with bites in places. Platinum and hammer with round bodies, unsigned. The dog with a flat back, hold both notches. Chimney in good condition. Steel metal surfaces with light oxidation and pitting in places. Brass trigger guard and butt plate (with markings) as well as a bayonet support ring. Original bayonet, numbered '5C.13'. Long butt stock in beech with cheek support in very good condition, without breakage or crack. Sold with its St-Etienne expert report. Ref S4624
