Frame stamped with S&W logo.

Jaspered steel trigger guard and hammer.
Steel stock, featuring the allegory of Liberty in a central oval medallion, standing in drapery. At her feet, a banner is marked with the word “liberty” in capital letters, and in her right hand she holds a balance. The symmetrical decoration is punctuated by ribboned scrolls, floral bouquets in relief and two heads of old men in lateral cartouches.
The cap features the Great Seal of the United States: an eagle in the round rests on the national coat of arms, its talons embracing an olive branch, symbol of peace, and arrows, symbol of defense and war. A rose rests on the grained background, next to the words "Eagle H. W. "
